Much has changed over these past few months, but our top priority is still you and your practice. We’ve worked to develop new and improved ways to help you view new reporting, manage real-time online booking, and easily update patient communication preferences and user permissions.
Here’s a quick summary of what’s new, and all the improvements since our last product update:
New reporting

New Campaigns report.
When sending mass texts to patients, practices previously had little visibility into which patients replied to certain messages. We recently added a new report in Campaigns that stores all patients replies. You and your staff can also respond to any patient campaign reply using Messages in the platform.

New Online Booking report.
Previously, practices did not know whether patients booking appointments via NexHealth were new or existing patients. Patient status is now automatically displayed with patient appointment information. If you want to see patient status in aggregate, you can download a report as a .csv file.
Online booking

Prioritize appointment types.
Now practices can customize the appointment types that are prominently displayed to patients. For example, prioritize “New patient cleaning” by clicking and dragging the appointment type to the top of the list so it appears as the first option to patients.

Indicate provider types.
Create custom provider types that are displayed to patients in the online booking widget. For example, update provider type to “Pediatric Dentist” and better identify a specific provider and make booking appointments easier.
Patient communications

Updates to patient communication preferences.
Previously, practices could unsubscribe patients from various types of communications, but could not choose the method (text, email). Now patients can be manually unsubscribed from email and/or text. When patients voluntarily unsubscribe, their preferences are automatically updated in their profiles in the NexHealth platform.
Account settings
New administrative tools.
Changing user permissions in your NexHealth account used to mean reaching out to our support team. Now you can add, delete, or customize permissions on your own in Settings.
